Downtime for 6D Pro Laser Facelift is low to moderate. You may experience some mild redness, warmth, and occasional swelling for 1 to 2 days. Most patients return to normal activities the following day. Some residual pinkness may persist for a few days.
How Soon Can I See Results for 6D Pro Laser Facelift?
Initial tightening is noticeable within the first week. Collagen remodelling continues over the following 2 to 3 months, with results building progressively. Is the intraoral component uncomfortable?
Most patients describe only a mild warmth during the intraoral component. Numbing is applied beforehand and the handpiece is designed for intraoral use. The sensation is brief and tolerable for the vast majority of patients.
How many sessions do I need?
This depends on the degree of laxity and your desired outcome. Some patients achieve good results with a single session; others benefit from a course of 3 to 4 sessions spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart. Dr Sue will advise a realistic plan at consultation.
Can 6D Pro Laser Facelift replace surgical lifting?
For mild to moderate laxity, a non-surgical approach can produce meaningful results. It is not a substitute for significant surgical lifting where large amounts of excess skin are present. Dr Sue will give you an honest assessment of what a non-surgical approach can realistically achieve for your anatomy.
How long do results last?
Results typically last 12 to 18 months, depending on the degree of initial laxity, skin quality, and lifestyle factors including sun protection. Maintenance sessions once or twice a year help sustain the improvement as natural ageing continues.

We do not perform this treatment during pregnancy. This is a precautionary measure to ensure your safety and your baby’s, not a reflection of the treatment’s risk profile in general. We recommend waiting until at least 6 months postpartum before beginning treatment. This allows your body adequate time to recover from delivery and for your hormone levels to begin stabilising, both of which influence how your skin responds to treatment and the results you can expect.
