MOH-Designated Yellow Fever Vaccination Centre

$272 per dose – includes your International Certificate of Vaccination

Prologue Clinic is a Ministry of Health (MOH)-designated Yellow Fever Vaccination Centre. If you’re travelling to or transiting through a country with risk of yellow fever transmission, we can vaccinate you and issue your International Certificate of Vaccination on the same visit.

What Is the Yellow Fever Vaccine and Do I Need It?

The yellow fever vaccine is a single-dose live attenuated vaccination that protects against yellow fever, a mosquito-borne viral disease found in tropical parts of Africa and Central and South America.

You need it if you’re travelling to a country where yellow fever is present, or if that country requires proof of vaccination for entry. You also need it to re-enter Singapore: ICA requires all travellers –including Singapore citizens and residents– who have been in a country with risk of yellow fever transmission within the past six days to show a valid vaccination certificate on arrival.

Which Countries Require Yellow Fever Vaccination?

Yellow fever risk countries are concentrated in tropical areas in Africa, Central and South America. Requirements vary by country and can change – our doctors can confirm what’s required for your specific itinerary during your consultation.

How Long Does the Yellow Fever Vaccine Last?

The yellow fever vaccine lasts for life; a single dose provides lifelong immunity. However, a booster dose may be required for certain individuals, such as those travelling to higher risk countries.

When Should I Get Vaccinated for Yellow Fever Before Travelling?

At least 10 days before you depart. Your International Certificate of Vaccination only becomes legally valid 10 days after your jab, not the day you receive it.

If you arrive in Singapore or at your destination country before your certificate is valid, you may face quarantine or be denied entry. Book your appointment well ahead of your trip to avoid this.
