What’s Your Biological Age?
Your chronological age only tells you how many years you’ve been alive, but your biological age can give you an indication of how well your body is ageing. At $169, Prologue’s The Longevity Blueprint programme gives you clearer insights into your current health and what you can focus on next.
What it includes:
- AgeQ™ Biological Age Test
- Grip Strength Test
- InBody Composition Scan
- Personalised Treatment Plan
What is The Longevity Blueprint?
The Longevity Blueprint is Prologue’s integrated longevity programme designed to help you understand how your body is ageing, uncover the factors that may influence your healthspan, and identify what you can focus on next to support healthier ageing.
Rather than relying on a biological age test alone, The Longevity Blueprint also assesses your body composition and health markers, giving you a more complete understanding of how your body is ageing.
What’s Included in The Longevity Blueprint
AgeQ™ Test
Find out how old your body really is on the inside based on how your internal systems are functioning compared to others your age.
Your AgeQ™ Score
You are
younger
than your chronological age.
| AgeQ™ Profile | AgeQ™ Status | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Decelerated | < −3 years | Your AgeQ™ Score is notably lower than your chronological age. This indicates your body is aging more slowly, showing higher physiological resilience. |
| Synchronized | Within −3 to +3 years |
Your AgeQ™ Score is generally aligned with your chronological age. This reflects a stable aging profile generally consistent with your peers. |
| Accelerated | > +3 years | Your AgeQ™ Score notably exceeds your chronological age. This suggests your internal systems are under higher stress than typical for your age. |
What is AgeQ™ Test?
AgeQ™ measures your true biological age by evaluating seven standard blood biomarkers against a dataset of over 300,000 individuals across Singapore, the US, and the UK, so you can see how well you’re ageing compared to others your age.
The seven biomarkers measured from your blood are:
- Fasting glucose
- Albumin
- Creatinine
- Red Blood Cells
- Basophils
- Neutrophils
- Monocytes
Beyond these biomarkers, the AgeQ™ test also provides insight into five key functional systems that influence how your body functions and recovers day to day:
Circulatory
Delivers oxygen and nutrients throughout your body.
Metabolic
Converts what you eat into energy so you stay active and focused.
Clearance
Helps remove excess fluids and waste from your body.
Synthesis
Supports tissue repair and the rebuilding of cells and structures.
Inflammatory
Supports your body’s response to injury and infection.
Age Older
When these systems are functioning well, you feel more energised and resilient. Changes in their function can sometimes show up as fatigue, slower recovery or other signs that your body may need more support.
Your AgeQ™ scores give you a clearer picture of how your body is ageing and highlight areas that may benefit from greater attention.
Hand Grip Strength Test
A simple assessment of grip strength can provide an indication of your overall strength and physical resilience.
What is the Hand Grip Strength Test?
The Hand Grip Strength Test is a fast, non-invasive assessment that measures the maximum isometric force produced by your hand and forearm muscles using a device called a dynamometer. It serves as a key clinical marker for overall muscular strength, neuromuscular function, and general physical resilience.
During the test, you squeeze the digital dynamometer with maximum effort for a few seconds with each hand to record your peak force.
Besides your body’s baseline muscle function, your hand grip strength test results offer insight into your functional mobility, nutritional status, and overall ability to recover well as you age.
InBody Composition Scan
A detailed assessment of your body composition, including muscle mass, body fat and other measures that provide insight into your overall physical health.
What is the InBody Composition Scan?
The InBody Composition Scan is a non-invasive assessment of your body composition, providing a detailed breakdown of the different components that make up your body. It measures factors such as muscle mass, fat mass, body water and mineral content.
Health Coaching Session
A dedicated one-to-one session with a health coach to interpret your results, identify priorities and develop a personalised plan.
Reviewing Your Results
Data is only useful when you know how to use it. In this one-on-one consultation, our doctor walks you through your complete Longevity Blueprint report to make sense of your numbers.
Together, we’ll look at how your results fit into your daily life and create realistic next steps built entirely around your health goals. This could include adjustments to your nutrition, exercise, sleep, stress management, or targeted support for specific areas highlighted in your results.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between biological age and chronological age?
Chronological age is the number of years you’ve lived, while biological age reflects how your body is functioning internally. It can be younger or older than your actual age depending on factors like lifestyle, stress, sleep, and overall health.
What is The Longevity Blueprint?
The Longevity Blueprint is a structured way to understand how your body is ageing beyond just numbers. It combines the AgeQ™ test, hand grip strength test, InBody composition scan, and a 1:1 health coaching session to give you a complete view of your health and ageing trajectory.
What does The Longevity Blueprint include?
It includes four key assessments: the AgeQ™ biological age test, a hand grip strength test, an InBody composition scan, and a personalised health coaching session to help you understand and act on your results.
What is the scientific basis of AgeQ™?
AgeQ™ is built on precision health science and validated using data from over 300,000 individuals across three major global studies – the Singapore Longitudinal Ageing Study (SLAS), the NHANES study in the US, and the UK Biobank. It identifies patterns in blood biomarkers linked to long-term health and ageing, providing a scientifically grounded snapshot of your current biological ageing trajectory.
How is the AgeQ™ score calculated?
While your birthday tracks time, AgeQ™ tracks health. It uses a validated algorithm that analyses 7 key blood biomarkers alongside your age and gender. Your results are then compared against a large dataset of over 300,000 individuals, showing how your internal systems are performing relative to others your age.
What are the 7 biomarkers used in AgeQ™?
The test evaluates seven standard blood markers: fasting glucose, albumin, creatinine, red blood cells, basophils, neutrophils, and monocytes. These markers reflect different aspects of metabolic, immune, and physiological health.
How does AgeQ™ differ from other biological age tests?
Unlike more complex lab-based tests such as DNA methylation or epigenetic clocks, AgeQ™ uses standard blood biomarkers that are already part of routine health screening. This makes it more accessible, cost-effective, and easier to integrate into regular check-ups while still being backed by large-scale validation studies.
What do the Functional Systems in the report mean?
Your results are grouped into five functional systems: metabolic (energy use), circulatory (oxygen delivery and stamina), inflammatory (immune balance), clearance (internal regulation), and synthesis (repair and maintenance). These systems show how different parts of your body are functioning together.
Can I do just the AgeQ™ test alone without the rest of The Longevity Blueprint?
The Longevity Blueprint is designed as a comprehensive, all-in-one programme, with the AgeQ™ Biological Age Test combined with other assessments to provide a more complete picture of your current health and ageing profile. For this reason, the AgeQ™ test is offered as part of the full programme rather than as a standalone assessment.
Existing Prologue customers can add The Longevity Blueprint to their existing plan for $99:
- Prologue The Lifestyle Medical Clinic: Available to customers with an existing health screening plan.
- Prologue Wellness: Available to customers with any existing wellness plan.
Why is the hand grip test included?
Grip strength is a simple but powerful indicator of overall physical health. It reflects muscle strength, resilience, and how well your body is ageing in terms of physical function, mobility, and independence.
Do I need to fast before the test?
Yes. An 8-hour fast is recommended before your blood test. Water is allowed during this period.
Can I take the test if I’m unwell?
It is not recommended to take the test during an acute illness or within two weeks of full recovery, as this may affect the accuracy of results.
Can people with chronic conditions take the test?
Yes. Individuals with well-managed chronic conditions such as diabetes or hypertension can take the test, as long as they are not currently experiencing an acute illness.
What conditions may affect eligibility?
Testing may be postponed if you are pregnant, recently had major surgery or hospitalisation, received a blood transfusion in the past 3 months, recently underwent stem cell therapy, or are currently undergoing chemotherapy.
Do I need to stop my medications before testing?
No. You can continue your regular medications before your blood test.
Can the AgeQ™ score be improved?
Yes. AgeQ™ is not fixed. With targeted lifestyle changes such as improvements in nutrition, sleep, exercise, and stress management, biological age can shift over time.
Who is The Longevity Blueprint suitable for?
It is suitable for adults aged 30 and above who want a clearer understanding of their biological age, physical health, and long-term ageing trajectory.
How should I prepare for the test?
Get adequate rest the night before, fast for 8 hours if required for blood testing, and avoid strenuous exercise immediately before your appointment for the most stable results.
